week 1...

this post is a little late, but better late than never!

last thursday our little love turned one week old.  there has been a lot of eating and sleeping around 

our house in the last week.  we are enjoying every second with isla and it's amazing how much she is already changing everyday!  i wanted to have a way to keep track of how much isla changes
in her first year so i made numbers out of felt to take her picture with each week.
here is her first week pic!

 since we already have hundreds of pictures of this little lady and she is only a week old i 

figured i would share some favorites.

finally going home from the hospital and her first time in the car seat.

isla got to meet her big sister, abby.  we weren't sure how abby would feel about miss isla but she has been very good with her.  we even caught her laying next to isla on the couch.

isla got an A+ on her first doctor visit.  she weighed 7 pounds 4 ounces, which means she gained 

3 ounces since we left the hospital.  yay!!

she loves taking naps with her daddy...

and she really likes her car seat.

it's been a great first week with our sweet girl!
